Top Ten Tuesday 2

Top Ten Books I Think Would Make Great Book Club Picks
Sponsored by The Broke and the Bookish

Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
The first two books are easy to discuss because they are AWESOME and there is no down side with either. However, with Mockingjay people could talk for days about why they were or weren't disappointed.

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
It's REALLY good. That's why it's on this list. Also, the ink matches the cover.

Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles
Ooo so good. There are a few minor problems with the story, like how the end wraps up so fast but it's really enjoyable to read.

The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater
Is it ok that I have two Maggie Stiefvater books on here and no Meg Cabot books? This one just takes you to another place completely. It's wonderful.

Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
There's so much more to the books than the movies, and everyone should read them.

Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac by Gabrielle Zevin
I really enjoyed this one. It came out awhile ago and was underrated.

The Giver by Lois Lowry
What a powerful book. So much to discuss.

The Near Witch by Victoria Schwab
This is another one that a lot of readers probably missed, but shouldn't have. It would've been wonderful to discuss this one.

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
He signed so many copies! That was cool. Really. I have heard really good things about this one even though I haven't read it myself yet. So I decided to include it.

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
I haven't finished this one. I got to the part about the brother/sister thing and stopped. I then heard that it wasn't quite what it seemed. I'll give it a second chance, but aren't things not being what they seem good for discussion?
