From Goodreads:
Vera’s spent her whole life secretly in love with her best friend, Charlie Kahn. And over the years she’s kept a lot of his secrets. Even after he betrayed her. Even after he ruined everything.
So when Charlie dies in dark circumstances, Vera knows a lot more than anyone—the kids at school, his family, even the police. But will she emerge to clear his name? Does she even want to?

This book was fabulous. It took my breath away. When I started it, I saw it was longer than my average teen read. I thought, "Man, this book is gonna take forever for me to finish." It only took about two days for me to finish it. If I would have had time, I would have read it in one. WONDERFUL! I couldn't wait to see what would happen to the characters. I needed to know what the secret was. I loved the writing style. It's the best book I've read in a very long time.

The reason I picked it up was because another blogger said it reminded her of Veronica Mars and she was RIGHT. If you like this book, watch Veronica Mars. If you like Veronica Mars, read this book. It's simple, really. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go look for my first season of the show and relive it.
