Top Ten Tuesday
Hosted by the Broke and the Bookish
Seriously? What good book HASN'T BEEN made into a movie? It seems like that's the only way movies are made now. But I'm going to give this a shot anyway.
Running Out of Time - Margaret Peterson Haddix
I've never seen the village, but this book should get a true adaptation.
It's so sweet and so suspenseful. You really want these two to meet. It would be a super-cute movie. Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist worked.
Pie - Sarah Weeks
I'm reading this one now. It's a good mystery/historical fiction. I think it would make a great, exciting movie.
Chopsticks - Jessica Anthony
This one has that twist in it, so it would be a good movie.
Action packed! I want to see it! And Hoot made such a GOOD movie.
The Scorpio Races - Maggie Stiefvater
I could see everything that the author described in this book. Wonderful. I would want to see the movie live up to those descriptions.
Please Ignore Vera Dietz - A.S. King
The world needs more Veronica Mars-like stories. 'Nuff said.
The Night Circus - Erin Morgenstern
Everything about this book was beautiful and magical. I don't think we have the technology available yet to make this book into an amazing movie that lives up to the book -- but someday.
The Guardian - Joyce Sweeney
It was an interesting, exciting read.
Wanderlove - Kirsten Hubbard
It's a travel book! Who doesn't love a good travel movie? Especially when romance is involved. (Like Under the Tuscan Sun! So good!)
