Skeleton Creek

Skeleton Creek
By Patrick Carman
Scholastic, 2009
Audience: Younger Teens

From Goodreads:
Strange things are happening in Skeleton Creek . . . and Ryan and Sarah are trying to get to the heart of it. But after an eerie accident leaves Ryan housebound and forbidden to see Sarah, their investigation takes two tracks: Ryan records everything in his journal, while Sarah uses her videocam to search things out. . .and then email the clips for Ryan to see.

So, I didn't figure out that the website and videos were probably real until halfway through the book. I was speed reading this one because someone else was waiting for it. Hustle, hustle, hustle! So when it did finally click, I didn't have time to turn on my computer and watch them. This is a text only review!

So, I thought the ending would wrap up everything, and the next book would be a different mystery or something.

It didn't. Boy was it a cliff hanger! And I was surprised at how scary this one was. It creeped me out! I don't trust ANYONE in Ryan's life. I REALLY hope the next book is in at the library. Maybe while I wait for the next one, I can watch the videos. This is the perfect book for Halloween season!
