From Goodreads:
Winter Break super-secret perfect cocoa recipe:
8 oz steamed whole milk
(no skim! doesn't work!)
2 tbsp. dark cocoa powder (big scoops)
1 tbsp. sugar (can't be too sweet)
4 dried, crushed mint leaves
(or 1 tbsp. mint syrup)
Stir thoroughly. Add mint swizzle stick. Combine with cute ski instructor, or brother's cute best friend, or cute guy you never noticed was so cute...Enjoy.
I am running out of Rachel Hawthorne books! I think I only have two or three romances left. This makes me sad, because I like each one I read better than the previous one, it seems.
I don't think the description of this is very good. Kate likes her brother's roommate Brad - and she is very surprised when he shows up on her skiing vacation with Kate's brother, Sam. Sam and Brad also bring along their friend Joe. Kate thinks this is the perfect opportunity to get together with Brad, but he gets a bit distracted by a snow bunny named Cyn and Kate starts to see he's not as great as she initially thought. Joe, however, turns out to be very good looking and interesting...
The romance was fantastic. I think it seemed true to life because it wasn't obvious or easy. Everything snuck up on Kate. It was a quick, wintry read and I highly recommend it.
