From Goodreads:
Presenting the initial Courtney Crumrin miniseries in a new digest-sized format. Courtney's parents have dragged her out to a high-to-do suburb to live with her creepy Great Uncle Aloysius in his spooky old house. She's not only the new kid in school, but she also discovers strange things lurking under her bed.

Our library system is opening a new branch soon, and I've been helping with the selection of new materials because we have to get stuff ready quickly. (It turns out I love it, it's so much fun to BUY BOOKS and not spend my own MONEY!) I was working on the Teen Graphic Novels list, and I saw this title. I had never heard of it, so I looked it up on Goodreads and saw it has an average of 4.09 stars. FOUR! With 1622 ratings! Naturally, I kept it on our order.

Also, I naturally interlibrary loaned it because I didn't want to wait for our new branch to open. I'm so glad I didn't wait, because this book was fun. There's all sorts of creepy crawlies and things that go bump in the night and magic! Also, shallow people and a smart, feisty main character. I'm so glad I found this! I put the next book on interlibrary loan also. Can't wait!
