We Were Liars is a modern, sophisticated suspense novel from National Book Award finalist and Printz Award honoree E. Lockhart.

Read it.
And if anyone asks you how it ends, just LIE.

This book was entrancing and suspenseful. It’s very different from the Ruby Oliver series. I feel like if I truly write a review, I’ll give away too much. Overall, it was fabulous. E. Lockhart has a winner here! It may look short, but it’s a deep, complicated story. I feel like the cover doesn’t really do the story justice. Once I finished the book, I immediately wanted to re-read to see what I missed before I knew the ending. As you read, pay attention to everything! Also - warning - you won’t be able to put it down!
