From Goodreads:
For Sabrina and Daphne Grimm, life has not been a fairy tale. After the mysterious disappearance of their parents, the sisters are sent to live with their grandmother--a woman they believed was dead! Granny Relda reveals that the girls have two famous ancestors, the Brothers Grimm, whose classic book of fairy tales is actually a collection of case files of magical mischief. Now the girls must take on the family responsibility of being fairy tale detectives.

I first saw this book back in 2005 when I was a shelver at our local library. I decided it looked fantastic and that I wanted to read it.

Clearly, I never got around to it.
It’s nine years later, and now the series is complete.

I’m disappointed in myself for waiting this long to read it. It was so much fun! I checked out the next few books, too. I hope I have time to read them.

My favorite part about this fairy tale was that the author used classic fairy tale characters and more obscure ones, too. This was unique; it’s easy for these types of books to all seem the same. It made me want to watch Once Upon a Time again, too! If you’re a fan of that show, definitely check this one out.
